We get heads in beds. We've spent 20 years building hospitality brands in Texas and beyond. We work with independent and boutique properties as well as branded hotels and resorts, on pre-opening and grand opening campaigns, rebrands and repositionings, hotel restaurants and bars, spa and wellness, group sales support, influencer marketing and paid media.
When should a hotel hire a PR agency before opening?
Nine to twelve months out. Luxury and lifestyle travel publications work four to six months ahead, and preview stays, photography and press materials all have to exist before those conversations start. That runway also lets us plan exclusives, embargoed features and creator stays around the opening date. Opening-day coverage is booked long before opening day.
Do you work with independent hotels or major flags?
Both. We work with independent and boutique properties as well as branded hotels and resorts. For Muy'Ono Resorts, the largest collection of independent hotels in Belize, our targeted media strategy has generated 1.9 billion media impressions around news such as the unveiling of its Signature Treehouses at Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge.
Do you market hotel restaurants and bars?
Yes, and it's often the fastest demand driver a property has. A destination restaurant or bar fills seats from the local market and gives travel media a reason to cover the hotel that isn't just another room reveal. We build chef and concept stories, seasonal programming and local media and influencer outreach for hotel food and beverage outlets.
What does a hotel PR retainer cost?
It depends on what the property needs. We set scope by the length of the engagement (pre-opening runway or ongoing retainer), how many outlets and amenities we're promoting, whether the work includes influencer programs, paid media and creative alongside PR, and how many feeder markets we're targeting. After a discovery call, we recommend a scope tied to your occupancy and revenue goals.
Can you help a hotel drive more direct bookings instead of relying on OTAs?
Yes. Earned media, social, influencer and paid media all work harder when they send guests to your own booking engine. We build campaigns around the reasons to book direct, track paid media through to conversions, and use press and creator coverage to give travelers a reason to search for your property by name instead of browsing a third-party listing.
Do you support group, meetings and event sales?
Yes. We support group and meetings sales with trade media outreach, sales collateral and creative, and campaigns that position a property for meetings and events. Our creative platform for Visit Phoenix speaks to both leisure travelers and meetings and conventions audiences, and we bring the same thinking to hotels competing for group business.
Do you work with travel influencers and creators for hotels?
Yes. We build creator programs around openings and seasonal moments, host preview stays for media and creators, and vet every request so each hosted stay earns its keep. For Muy'Ono Resorts, we vet all incoming influencer and press inquiries and present them to the client team, alongside pitching the national press opportunities that matter most.
