Event & Festival Marketing Agency: Frequently Asked Questions

Coverage doesn't sell tickets. The whole campaign does. We've spent 20 years building event and entertainment brands in Texas and beyond. We bring festival and live event PR, paid media, influencer marketing, creative, sponsorship visibility and on-site press operations together to fill seats and make events feel unmissable, including activations at SXSW.

How do you sell more tickets to a festival?

With a full-funnel plan. For ATX TV Festival, we ran a Meta campaign in three phases (awareness, consideration and conversion) with pop-culture creative built for TV fans in Austin and key Texas markets. The campaign reached 2.8 million people with a 5.98% click-through rate, and badge sales rose 49% year over year.

Do you plan and promote SXSW activations?

Yes. For Dubai's Museum of the Future at SXSW 2025, we handled press outreach and interviews, on-site support across the five-day experience, a curated gala dinner, paid social and out-of-home ads at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and paid influencers. The activation drew 25,000 attendees and 4.8 billion social impressions.

What does event PR include?

Media strategy and press materials, targeted outreach and interview coordination, media credentialing and on-site press operations, and post-event coverage. We also handle artist and talent relations where needed, and we make sure sponsors and partners get visibility in the coverage, since that's what brings them back next year.

How far ahead should we start marketing an event?

As soon as dates and ticketing are set. Long-lead media and early buyers commit well ahead of the event, and each phase (the announcement, lineup or programming news, and the final push) needs its own message. We build the plan backward from event day so awareness peaks before the window when people actually buy.

Can you market an event to people who aren't already fans?

Yes, and growing beyond the core audience is usually the assignment. We identify adjacent audiences such as entertainment seekers, families, food lovers or the local sports crowd, and reach them through creators, lifestyle media, out-of-home and paid social with offers built for them, while keeping the core fans engaged.

Do you use influencers to promote events?

Yes. We build paid and earned creator programs around events, from vetting and contracting creators to writing the brief and managing coverage before, during and after the event. For Museum of the Future's SXSW activation, our influencer program generated 743,000 influencer impressions alongside 8 million paid digital impressions.
